Common Yet Surprising Causes of Pain
Many people assume that certain ailments will cause a lot of pain, such as breaking a leg, the flu, etc. However, there are a few problems that people rarely believe can cause a significant amount of discomfort. Of these, a toothache is probably towards the top of the list. Teeth are highly sensitive believe it or not, this is why many commercials will advertise and warn individuals about keeping their teeth healthy. Once enamel is lost, teeth can become sensitive to hot or cold foods. If teeth are not taken care of properly on top of this, an infection can result. This ordeal can be very painful and many times the tooth winds up having to be pulled if antibiotics are not working effectively.
Another ailment which people do not think will cause a large amount of pain is ear infections. These can affect other parts of the body and can even cause fever, nausea, and even chills in some individuals. It is amazing how parts of the body are interconnected to such a degree that many parts become affected by one problem! This is an important lesson to individuals who choose to ignore minor symptoms that they may have been experiencing. Always prepare for the worst and do not assume that pain will not be bad.
